FEM Indonesia, Jakarta – After more than four decades of success in Europe, Fjäll Solutions has officially introduced its modular green housing technology to Indonesia through its joint venture, Fjäll Green Tech.

In collaboration with local partner Svarna Propertindo, the company, led by Co-CEOs Diovio Alfath and Christian Daley, launched the “Modular Green Affordable Housing” program—a modern housing solution that is eco-friendly, affordable, and disaster-resilient.

The prefabricated modular technology enables construction to be completed in just a matter of days instead of months. Despite the speed, quality remains uncompromised: the buildings are fire-resistant, earthquake-proof, leakproof, insect-resistant, and engineered with strong durability and structural integrity.

This concept has long been implemented across Europe, particularly in Sweden, and has also been adopted in Australia, the United States, and Japan. In Indonesia, Fjäll Solutions has already proven its reliability through the construction of premium resorts and villas in Bali such as Nuanu, Ocean Wedding, and Ulaman, all of which showcase the system’s sustainability and strength.

Following successful pilot projects for affordable housing in Lombok and Pangandaran, Fjäll Green Tech is now expanding into new segments, including student housing, three-to-five-story low-rise buildings, and multi-function facilities that can serve as communal kitchens, schools, clinics, cafés, or community centers.

“Our mission is to deliver environmentally friendly, high-quality, affordable, and disaster-resilient housing and buildings,” said Christian Daley.

“This technology answers the needs of Indonesia’s housing market and is ready for nationwide adoption,” added Diovio Alfath.

Fjäll Green Tech is now inviting the Government of Indonesia, banks, investors, and communities to collaborate in scaling up the adoption of modular housing nationwide.

With the support of technical innovation and inclusive financing schemes such as subsidized FLPP mortgages and green mortgages, the company is optimistic about contributing to Indonesia’s sustainable development agenda while helping address the country’s housing backlog.
