FEM Indonesia, English News – In the earthquake disaster in Cianjur, most of the victims were residents of Cianjur Regency, West Java. The earthquake still leaves deep trauma and sorrow for the victims.
Until now, most of them are still occupying shelter posts around the site of the severe earthquake. Including the children victims of the earthquake. Seeing these conditions, the beautiful model who graduated from Abang None Kepulauan Seribu in 2022, Amanda Endrinayla (19) also distributedp aid to earthquake victims in Cianjur on Sunday (25/12/2022) yesterday and will continue to do so.
Amanda and the Generation Project (GP) team she founded brought a lot of assistance to the children who were victims of the earthquake. The GP organization is a non-profit organization formed by Amanda which focuses on helping children in the form of donations and providing free English lessons.

“After I noticed the impact of the earthquake in Cianjur, it turned out that there were also a lot of children victims. There the children really need help, especially equipment to help them return to school. Alhamdulillah, along with the Generation Project team, we brought donations in the form of notebooks, backpacks for schools and English reading books for children,” said Amanda Endrinayla.
Amanda, who was a finalist for GADIS Sampul 2019, added that apart from making donations, she and her team try to have fun with the children there by playing, singing and giving practical lessons on how to know and learn English for children.
Amanda and her team gave lessons to children by entertaining and playing together at an evacuation site in Mangunkarta Village, Cugenang, Cianjur.
“This is a form of our concern that we are trying, so that the children here can slowly recover from the trauma of the earthquake that hit them and they can also be entertained by our team’s arrival. Hopefully it will be useful for all of them,” said Amanda, who focused her advocacy on children’s education & mental health.

Amanda Endrinayla who is still registered as a Psychology Student at the University of Indonesia as well as Wakil I for None Jakarta Kepulauan Seribu 2022 and Finalist for None DKI Jakarta 2022 revealed that during her visit to the evacuation site for the most severe earthquake victims in Mangunkarta Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, she brought two Generaction volunteers, named Emirio Nadhif Ardhito and Eki Fadhilah Mohammad Rizki.
They brought donations of school supplies in the form of 200 backpacks, 150 notebooks, 50 English reading books to the shelter tents. During her visit, Amanda met around 50 children from PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary School grades of 1 – 6. Amanda said that the victims in the evacuation tents lived with limited facilities such as inadequate toilets, lack of access to clean water, insufficient food stocks and frequent follow-up earthquakes.

“Hopefully all of them there will continue to receive assistance from various parties until they fully recover, especially the children. As young people, we have a calling to be involved in social action, where contributions can be in any form, both material, time , energy and so on,” hoped Amanda.
